About Me

Welcome to my blog! I'm Kristin, a stay at home mom, gamer, and crocheter. I received my crochet instructor certification from Craft Yarn Council in 2012, and I'm currently working on my Masters of Crochet Techniques from the Crochet Guild of America. I started to design my own patterns last year and thought it was time to start blogging about my experiences and share my designs, many game related, with others.

I will also be posting a variety of stitches and stitch patterns as I come across them. Sometimes a stitch is what inspires me to make something out of it. Other times, I start with a general idea (like World of Warcraft or Star Trek) and go from there.

If you live in the Bloomington/Normal or Peoria, Illinois area, I teach beginning and advanced crochet classes in Michaels stores. Check out the current class schedule on my class schedule page. Classes may be added depending on demand, and I'm always looking for additional techniques to teach. If you come across something you'd like to learn, let me know.
